Mr. William Jordan, President of William Jordan Associates, located in Laguna Hills, California, has been serving South Orange County for more than a decade. William established his career in a new office with Edward Jones in 1997, which he successfully developed in the prominent area of Lake Mission Viejo. In 2001, William joined Sentinel Capital Management, Inc. and became President of the firm in 2004. William has successfully achieved Series 7, Series 24, Series 63, and Series 65 designations.
William is nationally recognized as an expert in the field of financial planning, wealth management and college funding, established through his interviews and featured quotes as seen in The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s and Forbes magazines, among others. He recently appeared on CNBC Power Lunch and CNBC Breaking News Future of Financials.
William, a regularly featured speaker in Southern California, has conducted financial seminars, stewardship boot camps, and college funding workshops for more than ten thousand individuals over the last decade. His presentations include a variety of financial topics; his most popular are Why Smart People Do Dumb Things with Their Money, Strategic Use of Home Equity in Financial Planning, College Financial Planning, and Women and Their Money.
William is President and Founder of Sentinel College Funding, Inc. a company focused on providing advanced college financial planning solutions. Since 2001, his firm has assisted over 3,000 families in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas pay for college in the most affordable way regardless of how high their income or net worth.
The mission statement of William Jordan Associates is “Guarding Your Financial Future”. The main objective in accomplishing this is to understand the client’s most important financial goals; and systematically design financial strategies to provide the highest level of confidence in accomplishing those “lifestyle” goals.
Currently William is Vice President of the Orange county chapter of LeTip International and is a member of Vistage, an international organization for chief executives. William has been a resident of South Orange County for over twenty years. He and his wife Tiphanie have enjoyed more than thirteen years of marital bliss. They are busy raising their two daughters. Active members of Life Church in Mission Viejo, William and Tiphanie currently serve on a team of worship leaders and oversee the leadership for the church’s Couples Ministry, as well as leading a biblical stewardship group study through Crown Ministries.

Tawnia BairAssociate Financial PlannerTawnia brings a perfect blend of financial and health care experience to provide a holistic planning experience. Not only does she have more than seven years experience in banking, mortgage and finance, but also has a grounding in nursing and health care—an area that has become one of the biggest variables in creating a financial plan. Tawnia recently graduated from Vanguard University with a BBA—a program she completed as a single mother raising her preschool son. She joined William Jordan Associates two years ago as a paraplanner and has moved into the role of associate financial advisor—providing clients with strategic and tactical support in executing their investment strategies. She is newly married to Michael Bair. |
Karen WildeAssociate Financial PlannerKaren’s ability to super-serve clients comes from a unique combination of mortgage banking business experience, finance education and mission-based volunteerism. She has a bachelor’s in business finance and practical experience, including starting and running her own business. Marrying a proven track record of business success with a heart for service, Karen has led Joy of Living Bible Studies and Family Assistance Ministries to empower women. Her passion is helping people of all background achieve their dreams through solid financial planning. She has worked for William Jordan Associates for two years and excels at helping clients find a clear path to achieving their financial objectives. Karen was born and has lived most of her life in Southern California. She has been married for 20 years and has a beautiful daughter and granddaughter. |
Lisa Horuczi MarkusBusiness DevelopmentAuthor of the Financial Planning Association-recommended book Living a Blessed Life: Walking in Faith, Growing in Wealth, Lisa’s passion is to economically empower people worldwide. She does so by connecting with clients, community organizations, corporations and the press to raise awareness and bridge the wealth gap. For more than 11 years, Lisa spear-headed financial education efforts at Hewitt Associates and Fidelity Investments at Fortune 500 companies to inspire greater health and wealth among women and people of color. She is an award-winning television and print journalist, contributing writer to SOUL MAG and African Vibes, and leads financial empowerment workshops through South County Outreach—Orange County CA’s largest provider of temporary housing and assistance to people in financial transition. Lisa graduated from MSU with the Journalism School’s highest honor and with an MBA. She has been married to Denis Markus for 14 years and they have two lovely children. |

She has a heart for empowering youth through leading and participating in volunteer efforts at Newhart Middle and St. Anne schools, St. Killian and Saddleback churches, and Girl Scouts. She attended Point Loma College in San Diego. Gina has been the devoted wife of Vince for 19 years and they have two beautiful daughters. |
